• Ridley's Voice Claim: Serah Farron - Final Fantasy 13

Distinguishing Features:
Ridley boasts a slender and athletic frame, her blonde hair intricately adorned with an eclectic mix of feathers and beads. Hailing from a desert region, her attire mirrors the environment: breathable, lightweight, and contoured to her silhouette. Tall in stature, Ridley remains unscarred, prrof of her skills as a ranged fighter who often provides support from a distance. Her fashion reflects her extensive travels across the star, allowing her to immerse herself in diverse cultures. These experiences have not only enriched her wardrobe but also shaped her character!!

Personality:
First and foremost, Ridley is unwaveringly devoted to her kingdom and its inhabitants. Born during tumultuous times, she's emerged resilient and astute. With a black and white perspective on matters, she leaves no room for ambiguities. Often regarded as a prodigy, Ridley attributes her prowess not to innate talent but to sheer determination and relentless dedication. She resents being labeled as 'naturally gifted'. Off duty, Ridley exudes a relaxed demeanor. Yet, cross her or question her integrity, and her fiery spirit surfaces. She's spirited, captivating, and unwaveringly loyal. If she calls you a friend, it's a bond meant to last forever!

History

Hailing from the Kingdom of Dalmasca, Ridley's lineage was entrenched in efforts to reclaim their homeland. Desiring a life free of imperial threat for their daughter, Ridley's parents relocated her and her elder sibling, Reese, to the relative safety of The Giza Plains, beyond the imperial grasp which was focused elsewhere.In these plains, the siblings grew alongside other children, many of whom were orphaned as their parents fell battling their adversaries. Ridley and Reese faced a similar fate, their parents never returning. As adults, although they've embarked on separate paths, their shared goal remains unwavering: the restoration of their homeland. Ridley's journey led her to the ranks of The Resistance Faction, 'The Lente's Tears'. Here, she crossed paths with a Bangaa named Ru'Gaar. Under his tutelage, she honed her magical prowess, evolving into a formidable mage.

Ridley, truly has always loved the art of Magick. She began her studies at a young age hoping to follow after her elder brothers footsteps. She has seen a many come through Dalmasca's borders that could harness Magick such as, Thaumaturgy and Blue Magick. While she learned a few of these trades into her adulthood - she always yearns to learn more.Chocobo's
Upon the woman's arrival to the Giza Plains, many of the orphaned children were met with Chocobo Eggs of their own. Something to get their mind off of the war - it truly did work however. Ridley's Chocobo, Nalbina has been with her since she was a young girl. She truly believes she wouldn't have made it all of these suns without her companion.Journal Entries

Dislikes

Lack of Manners
Ridley was brought up to treat everyone with respect, although she has furthered off of that trail a bit. She knows right from wrong and she knows how to speak to people. Those without manners she will have little time for - she will also be ready to tell them all about themselves and the lack of manners they have!Magitek
Any sort of magitek has always been seen as a nuisance to Ridley, she see's them as items and tools for war. She would much rather stick to how things were before the inventions. Should anyone parade about with creations such as these you can be sure she will be off put by them.Authoritative Figures
She has never been one to directly follow orders. Especially if they are being barked at her, if she feels she is being forced or pushed into doing something the woman will absolutely snap back. As kind as the woman is, she doesn’t do well in settings such as this.

Each sibling aligned with different factions within the Lente's Tears, a prominent resistance group, dedicating their lives to the liberation of their kingdom.

Throughout her journey with the resistance, Ridley's outgoing and warm personality led her to cross paths with many allies and foes alike. Whether in the dusty expanses of The Estersands and The Westersands, the challenging terrains of Greylic’s Bend, the bustling streets of Valnain, or the mysterious reaches of Leá Monde, Ridley made a name for herself. Her involvement in these regions meant that if your characters hail from any of these areas, it's likely they have encountered this spirited Hyur.
